New Leader Training
Youth Protection
First, complete Youth Protection. This training is required before submitting your application and every 2 years afterwards and gives you wonderful information on making a safe environment for our youth and adult leaders.
Leader Specific Training
Finally, you are ready for Leader Specific Training. This training gives you the nuts and bolts for your specific position in Scouting. This training is put on by your district.
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
If you are a Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Varsity Coach, Assistant Varsity Coach, or Crew Advisor and Crew Associate Advisor for a High Adventure Crew you will also need to complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills as part of your Leader Specific Training.
