Trainer Certification recognizes trainers who consistently deliver quality BSA basic training and demonstrate effective management of district and council training programs.
Any registered adult who demonstrates the necessary aptitudes as an effective trainer. Scouters must contact the district training chair to become enrolled.
There are 3 standards, beginning with Certified Trainer. The evaluation form is used with all 3 standards. The district training chair supervises trainers and recommends qualifying trainers for recognition to the council basic training committee.
Qualifying trainers will be recognized with a distinctive device to be worn on the uniform.
